Musicisum 1.4 - Introducing US Dollar pricing

The sound of frantic tapping has been echoing the halls of our developer's (Ben) office, and today we're super excited to tell you about some changes to the Musicisum website.

US Dollar Pricing

Users outside of the UK are now able to pay for Musicisum subscriptions in US Dollars instead of Pounds Sterling.

We understand that seeing the £ symbol can be confusing for people outside of the UK, and most of our international users are used to paying for things online in US Dollars. If you're a free user accessing the website from outside of the UK, the subscribe page will automatically show USD pricing. If you're a subscriber from outside of the UK and you'd rather pay in USD, you can cancel your subscription and resubscribe.

Phone calls

We're giving you the opportunity to have a free phone call with us where we talk about your learning goals.

We're not sure anything like this has been done before, but we love speaking to all of you! We understand that when you're learning something new it can often be difficult to know where to start or what to do next. As part of this update, we are offering each and every one of you a completely free phone call to chat through your learning goals. We'll be happy to answer any questions you have that are relevant to learning music with the aim to give you a clear path on what to work on so that you don't feel stuck.

Phone calls can be arranged through your profile. We have no idea how popular this is going to be, but hopefully we'll be able to speak to you soon!

Statistics

We have implemented statistics on your profile so that you can get a breakdown of how you've been spending your time learning with us.

We often talk about how important it is to take a step back and acknowledge how far you've come. With the introduction of our stats, we're making this easier for you to do. When you look at your profile you will be able to see:

  • A recent practice & challenge activity line
  • A heatmap calendar that shows when you practiced the most
  • Your top exercises that you have spent the most time on
  • Your practice streak that will increase as you spend more consecutive days practicing

We want to do loads more with statistics and information to give you a very visual breakdown of how you've progressed. This is just the beginning!

Facebook sign up & log in

Filling out forms is boring. You can now avoid doing all of that by creating a Musicisum account with Facebook. If you have already created an account with us and your Facebook account uses the same e-mail address as your Musicisum account, you will also be able to log in with Facebook - saving you time!

As always, there's plenty more going on at Musicisum HQ! We've been answering all of your questions about guitar, singing, and production on our YouTube channel, we're making progress on our upcoming production course with Dave Hollingworth, we've got some exciting competitions coming up, and we're gearing up for new courses and new exciting ideas in 2017! If there's anything you'd like to see us doing, let us know in the comments. Otherwise, we'll speak to you on the phone!
